1902 Blue Seal (Date Back & Plain Back) National Bank Notes
The 1902 Blue Seal notes are the most common large-size National Bank Notes, encompassing both Date Back and Plain Back varieties. Date Backs were issued first, followed by the Plain Back design which continued until the switch to small-size notes in 1929. Despite being relatively common, notes from small towns, territories, and Western states still carry significant premiums.
